As an employer, you will have essential expertise and knowledge to develop the future retail workforce and shape existing training programmes.
You may like to get involved by participating in any of the following:
Support the retail ambassador programme – CORA can provide training to a nominated member of your staff to help promote retail careers to young people. The commitment isn’t too time consuming and it helps to promote the message about the profession and positive PR for your business Offer work experience placements to students on full time training programmes. Apart from providing them with a valuable experience, it will also give you opportunities to see whether any could become future employees, without the commitment of recruitment costs.
Participate in employer forums that we organise to develop the programmes of the future. Your up to date knowledge is invaluable in helping us to shape new programmes such as the new National Retail Diploma. It will also provide you with opportunities to network with other like minded retailers.
Sponsorship of future programmes and facilities.
We are always looking to train in the most realistic and current environments, for example our mock shop at Cheshire Oaks has been donated by Marks and Spencers and stocked with goods on loan from the Cheshire Oaks designer stores.. We could advertise your support with these programmes via our PR networks both locally and nationally. You could also sponsor a learner award.
If you are interested in sponsorship or getting involved with CORA contact us via our online enquiry form.
